Mochimune in Shizuoka City is known for its traditional whitebait fishing and nostalgic port scenery. JR Mochimune Station, located two stops and seven minutes from Shizuoka Station, where the Shinkansen stops, has been loved by people of all ages for its retro Showa-era atmosphere. However, this year marks the seventh year of the Reiwa era, and as the station building has aged and is now 89 years old, it has been sadly decided to rebuild it. \We want to preserve the current appearance of Mochimune Station, which has been watching over the daily lives of residents for many years, in 3D point cloud data/ A volunteer group of local residents will work with the local government and JR Central to preserve the station as it is in precise data! You can always look back on the nostalgic Mochimune Station of everyone.
Why do we do this project?- JR Mochimune Station was built in 1936. For 89 years, it has supported the lives of the people of this small port town.
